Real Name: Jill Thorn
Background: Jill Thorn is the daughter of the New York crimelord Petro. She was educated in the best schools for the day when she would inherit her father's empire, with training in business, combat, and other useful skills. However, a series of events caused a rift between father and daughter and she became his chief adversary in partnership with Shadow. She was later linked romantically with Gunslinger. For a time, Maverick was a member of the Strong Persuaders vigilante group. Currently she makes her living as a bounty hunter and mercenary.

Skills: Maverick is a trained fighter with a sharp acumen for business. She is a superb combat driver and races cars professionally when she has a chance.
