Real Name: Peter Pietro
Background: Peter Pietro is a businessman and entrepreneur who made his first millions in the oil business. However, for many years, he has been the chief boss of organized crime for most of the United States. Based in New York, he has often run up against New York's crime fighters, notably Shadow and Gunslinger, as well as his daughter, Maverick, with whom he had a falling out.
At one point, due to evidence brought by Shadow, Petro was jailed on federal racketeering charges. However, he was paroled and eventually rose to control the underworld a second time. He plans to avoid the mistakes of his first rule.
Immaculata Law is Pietro's companion, attorney, and accountant, and was invaluable during his second rise to power. Law's background is uncertain, but she possesses an eidetic, almost computerized memory.
