Background: Regan Chase's father was a famous big game hunter who taught his daughter all he knew. When her father was killed, she swore to use her hunting skills to bring his killers to justice. She was an ally of the Victory Squadron and romantically involved with Captain Fortune.

The modern-day bounty hunter Quarry claims that Quarrel is her maternal grandmother.
