In the 33rd century, the forces of the Biotechnic Authority wage war on the worlds of the Outrim Covenant. The Authority commands genetic technology, and wages war using both traditional weapons and microbial ones. The Covenant is a defensive alliance built from the remains of two shattered empires.

A vast swath of contested worlds sits between them, called the Conflict Zone. Here, the future of humanity will be decided.

The Conflict Zone is an update of my original Traveller campaign. This is the universe of the Janissaries, as well as Kranby and McDonald, and a score of other travellers. But decades have passed, and war has overtaken the worlds of humanity.
