Watchstar Team 1
The first Watchstar team was founded in New York and originally based in an old US Army bunker, with satellite surveillance links that gave them worldwide access.
The team later moved to a mansion on an island in Long Island Sound and were funded by Andrews International.
The team's charter members were Protector, Arcana, Inferno, Gauntlet and Falcon. Later members included Alpha, Shooting Star, Sonira, Charger, Vanguard and Tech.
Watchstar 1 was an important superteam for several years, battling Sargon, Lucifer, and many other foes.
After the death of Shooting Star, the first team disbanded and Gauntlet formed a new team under his leadership.
Some original members still maintain a strong relationship with the Watchstar organization.
